but wait..that's NOTHING. At one of my PFLAG meetings, one of those bitches that ARE gay but don't like to label themselves, even though it's the damn truth, told us how she was at Pride with her best friend, and one of the vendors asked if that was her girlfriend and THIS bitch said:

"I don't like to call myself gay or bi, i consider myself part of an amorphous asexual blob"

You gay bitch. She didn't know how dumb her ass sounded. But i use big words too like "colloquialisms" and "ambiguous" and shit like that. Cuz i iz SmRt.

So, that's kinda like saying "bi-sexual"? That's what it sounds like.

i use bigwords sometimes in casual conversation, and it's not because i'm trying to make some kind of effort to be impressive or pretentious or whatever - it's just that, well, i read a lot of books and i have a passion for writing, and sometimes that part of my life seeps into the way i talk. if someone asks the meaning of a word i use in conversation, i'm never an ass about defining it for them. i've had people do that to me before, and i find it really insulting and disrespectful. i like words. i like sharing the ones i know with other people so they'll use more of them. i like it when people do that for me.

And that's okay.... you don't seem like someone that is pretentious. These guys were just kinda nerdy. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I think it just irked me because I don't want to do any kind of thinking at lunch. Boy, these two guys probably take their work home with them too.

What's wrong with a word like "polymorphous?" I'd use it, regardless of who I was with, if the word needed using.

I'm guilty of this as well. Funny thing is, I don't think of my vocabulary as all that advanced, considering other folks I know. But at work my team is constantly chiding me for it. redface Now it almost makes me feel silly cause sometimes they have to stop me to explain myself.
