what's a good song to audition for Idol with? I'm too old (  and can't sing anyway), but a 21 yo friend is thinking of it, and needs a good song - the auditions for Australian Idol are in Melbourne this coming weekend. Any ideas? She has a really powerful voice | |

How about Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy"? It requires a good vocal range and a strong soulful voice, but is a great showcase if she can pull it off. It'll give the jury goosebumps. | |

I like Alanis voice and all. Well not looks really.
Anyway , auditions in Spain are only 20-30 seconds. Is that the same over there? It's little time to impress a jury. | |

I'm not sure- i dont fink there ever is a good one for it...but whatever it is...make sure she has a backup idea..she should scream, attempt break dancing, make 'brrrrr'noises, stick her tongue out and then sing "AMEN!" at the endz...they want the 'it' factor... tell her 2 give it them- da bastardz!!  No hablo espanol,no!
