"The Munsters" rock! I recently joined the Columbia House TV DVD club and ordered both "Batman, The Animated Series, Volume one" and "Munsters, Volume one" and while "Batman" might be more for fans of comicbooks or the like, "The Munsters" is just corny laugh out loud stuff. Contiunity seems to be a big issue (How old are they, Herman's hands are only hairy when it's convient, different issues with time and sleeping, etc.) but try not to think about it too much (although it kind of drives me crazy) becuase it's just so funny. They just think their normal. You'd think they could only go so far with that one idea but somehow, they manage to make it work (although it only lasted two seasons). Too bad the Munster movies have come and gone on DVD....

I really like the Munsters. I don't have the dvds yet, but I watch it on TVLand whenever I get the chance. I have the theme song on my iPod..... I'm so corny, I swear. But there's a ska version of the theme song that's pretty good too. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

One of the best theme songs...The pilot, which was incomplete and terrible, didn't even have the theme song but spent maybe two mintues going throgh the opening credits. It's really creepy (it seems darker) but intersting. Not worthy buying the set for...but the 38 episodes are! Glad I joined this club. It's so nice to just watch one episode when you're in the mood for it. Good bless the person that put full seasons of shows on DVD!

I have the first season, and I know it's supposed to be out soon or it might already be out....not sure. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

If it wasn't so expensive (as I pointed out when it came out) I would snatch it up. Again, "227" from the same year (give or take) is as low as $20...."Golden Girls" is $10 or so more! Ok, I misunderstood the question and am not going to edit, just add. I just looked and they don't offer either one. It's werid because they have a lot of titles but not everything (no "Fox TV" titles like "The Simpsons"). Check out chtvedtion to see what they intially offer (because the first selections are kind of limited...). [Edited 5/7/05 20:06pm]

I love Yvonne de Carlo. I saw an episode of "Biography" about her recently and it was fascinating.

I was on IMDB and was shocked to find out she was stil alive....I read a comment about some person that saw the same special and was surprised by how well she held up.
