So I was out with my bandmate/girlfriend (a friend who happens to be a girl, you moron) last night to see our old friend and former bandmate's new band. They're great, by the way, and if you're gonna be in NYC, you should check them out: www.thesubstance.net

But anyways, I had a nice time, but it didn't seem like my girlfriend was to impressed. It was probably because of the high cover charge. But I didn't really care. I was just there to check out the music, and man, they ROCKED!

So after the show was over, the bouncer gave me some free drink tickets out of the blue. I totally took advantage of that. I had the hot blonde bartender give me a cherry coke and rum, and then I did some tequila shots with this dude. I told him that I'm 22 now and I want to enjoy my youth. I had about 3 of them, and I got TOOOOORRRRRE UP!!!!!

Man, that was one of the very few times that I got wasted, but it kinda felt cool though.

But my girl was kinda pissed. I just wished she loosened up a bit.
