Washing Windows/Mini-Blinds

Is there any more dreaded job in the world than this one? I just got through washing my windows inside and out, then cleaned my mini-blinds. The weather has been beautiful lately, so I thought I might as well take advantage. Cleaning them reminds me of why I don't do it more often, it's a pain in the butt and it takes sooo long to do!
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

lol I just replaced my windows a few years ago. You should have seen the old ones, they were a mess, would not close, stay up, etc. etc. I was so glad to see them go. lol

I have mini-blinds. I just take them out of their bracket and put dishwashing soap in the tubby and let them soak and then clean and rinse them off. Yeah dry them outside, they would dry faster.

Note to self: Wash mini-blinds

Thanks for the tip. Putting them into the tub in some soapy water would be much easier than trying to clean them while they're hanging up. Why didn't I think of that? err

I didn't know that dry cleaners cleaned mini-blinds. There is a dry cleaner by my house, I should call and check to see if they offer that service as well.
