lol I would love to see the fishing cat in action. It's amusing to hear of a cat that dives into water, since most cats hate water! lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

The cat that I think you're referring to is called the Turkish Van. Found this on the web:

Turkish Van

The coloration of the Turkish Van, which is considered by many to be the original breed to carry the piebald gene, calls for a white, semi-longhaired cat with colored markings restricted primarily to the head and tail. Other piebald cats that have been selectively bred for many generations to achieve similar markings are said to be “van-patterned” after the breed that originally sported it. The coat lacks an undercoat and has a very unique cashmere-like texture that makes it water-resistant. This brings us to another interesting feature of this breed - they love water and in their native region they have been termed “the Swimming Cats.”
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

That would be awesome! Wonder how much a Turkish Van cat costs? Most purebred cats are pretty pricey, from what I've seen.

My girlfriends folks have a Scottish Fold and I'm told he was like a $1,000 dollar cat.

disbelief

I would never pay 1,000 for an animal with as little personality as a cat.

For 1/10th of that you can get a really good prostitute with a bubbly personality. smile
