Having trouble setting up my printer... I know some of you are real smart with computers but I'm having trouble installing my printer my computer is being soososososososososososososososooooo stupid and it wont detect the new hardware does neone have any suggestions? | |

Everything is installed.....i even have the cd running it installs then it gets to looking for new hardware and it freezes | |

USB cable and like right now theres a window that says status the bar is a little less than filled and theo n top of that window theres one that says "looking for newhardware...New Printer detected Please wait..." but its sorta frozen and it wont load up anymore | |

It should have detected the USB device right away.
Is it a lexmark or HP? (if it's a cannon or something else, I can't help ya) | |
