You Are All Sheep and I Hate U!...pt 3! I don't believe in Marriage! What is it
for? What does it actually do? It doesn't "solidify" the relationship, so why do it? It is just another capitalistic venture created by "the powers that be" in order for you to support the GNP of the US by enticing you with tax breaks and discount interest rates on property all the while you are fooling yourselves into thinking the "contract" of Love you signed onto is going to find you eternal bliss while you should be inherently fueling your heart and soul naturally and existing solely to facilitate that love with another, not concentrating on something "society" has forged for you! But that's just me.

I've been married for almost 17 years. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones because I wouldn't change a thing. In fact, I feel more comfortable and happier in my marriage as the years go by. Communication, compromise, respect and geniune love are what has kept us together. We help each other and we support each other. We also tell each other the truth even if it hurts.
Marriage is not for everyone. In fact, I believe that many people should never marry. Having children can ruin a marriage too. I don't believe that everyone should have children either. Both are full of sacrifice and you have to be willing to put yourself second (or third) and many people are just not willing to do that. Marriage is amazing if you're with the right person. | |
