Honestly though what I found out that hepled me with some of the guilt was realizing that we are doing what is best for our children by being the wonderful mothers that we are. U are what they have had and all they may get until something changes. Don't stress urself out by chasing him down on behalf of responsibility. It is just too much drama. U can't change him, your kids can't change him. It is hard and heartbreaking but u are the best they have and they need that more than they need his drama.

Secondly, I don't know a lot about what's going on here, just trying to understand through your posts, but, if I'm getting this right, if one of your children's father is absent in their life and doesn't want anything to do with the child, and you've tried to get him to be a part of the child's life, to no avail, then leave it.

Not only will it relieve a lot of stress on you, but also on your children as well. Even if you're not bitching and ranting in front of them, they can sense when you're tense or upset, without having to hear what's going on.
