"Fire", a below average film that's badly paced by the director (only in my opinion like). I liked the bold ideas the film tried to portray but though the execution wasn't great. I don't care how much the film makers deny this but they definitely used the "controversy"/taboo element of the film to publicize it's release (esp. outside India) which back fired on them. It wasn't meant to truely be the central theme of the flick but ended up being. This detracted a defining edge that the film could have had.*















* I'm just so fucking bitter coz I thought it was gonna be some sort of wild Asian Babes Kama Sutra sex fest between Shabana Azmi ( ) and (the beautiful ) Nandita Das . This may have influenced my opinion of the film

Oh, incidently, the movie title is "KAMA SUTRA" The word "Karma" means something different entirely

"Kama Sutra" is also a Nair film starring an absolute all time, old skool, Bollywood legend, Rekha.....



She was the 'dance teacher' in "Kama Sutra"
