if he likes those gummy things, that would be alright I suppose..

but would he like an ICE CREAM CAKE of some type??
maybe something from Ben & Jerry's, or Baskin Robbins
in the shape of a "bug" or in the shape of the "letter A"
for all those A's he gets???

whatever you end up doing for him, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
smile

how loud is "too loud"??
DIFFICULT to say, but if head of the person sitting next to bumps into the head of the person sitting next to them because your scream caused the 1st person to lean over so much that they hit the head of the person next to them..
THAT might be.. "too loud"..
smile
still.. you clearly have (earned) the right to make some noise for your kid, for his continued excellence in school.
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

Fauxie

I was in highschool (comprehensive in the UK). It's a great way to get on in life, getting good grades that is, but does little to educate people. The system is rubbish. As I got to sixth form at the age of 17 there was no change. In university there was no change either. I guess I got bored with it all. There's a certain intelligence involved in knowing how it all works and reproducing other peoples' theories, preferably coupled with good writing skills (which is more important than actual ability at a subject), but I found it all such a let down. Anyways, I think I've digressed. lol

Most importantly, well done to your son. I think the idea of something to do with the letter 'A' would be brilliant.

And yes, that your greatest work in life (your child) is doing well, means you are too. thumbs up!

Foster the spontaneous creativity in him and you'll have a remarkable young man on your hands in a few years time.

Here's what you do, make him a bug filled (a clay planter) pot of dirt! It is actually chocolate Jello pudding covered in Oreo cookie crumbs with gummy worms crawling out! It looks like hell but tastes good! We normally make it on Halloween for the kids but this seems appropriate with the bug thing and all. I am going to see if I can find a pic for you!
