Have you guys ever had a photo taken, of yourself, that you're truely happy with?

I'm asking this because I'm a photographer. I see a lot of people each day and I'm always told that they've never had a really good photo taken of themselves before. I guess most people only get their photo taken when they're out at a party or something....and that's probably not a good idea getting your shot taken while being drunk.
I can't even say I've had a really good shot taken of myself even. I'm always the one taking photos....but never in them.

So!!!! Are you happy with your pictures and have you ever been into a studio to have it doen as well?

i've never taken a professional picture (except when i was little of course) and no i can't say that i've been happy with any of the pictures that are taken of me.
just seem to look dorky in them to me.

my mum keeps putting on this weird face when I take a photo of her - we call it her photo face, she thinks it looks good, but a photo of her laughing naturally is so much more appealing, yet she rips up photos of herself doing that because she hates all the wrinkles. so I've accepted that when someone ELSE says you look good in a photo you should take their word for it - they see you every day and have a much better idea!
my licence photo is the only one I've had taken professionally and it's the best photo of me that I have!

I never like the pro shots I take.The posing makes me look odd.

I would rather be shot freely & naturally than pose for pictures

i did not print it yet but looking at my contact sheet it came out pretty good. its one of the photos i plan to print.

my b/f is a photographer, and he's taken some good pictures of me - better than most people have, really...



....though i kinda like pictures i've taken of myself, too. the composition isn't really good in any picture i take because i don't know what i'm doing, and the lighting's usually pretty lame - but i can capture me pretty well, i think.

events and campus photographs mainly, though he also takes pictures outside of work that are really gorgeous - he was commissioned to take pictures of a rodeo recently, that was fun.
