How do you view the Org?

And how do you view yourself on the org? The word of the month for me I suppose has been "Perception". I have read a few threads of late that deals with what they percieve and how they percieve themselves here....So how do you see the org and how do you think people here see you....

*Disclaimer*

Yes for those who come to post "I don't care" or "It doesn't matter what people think of me" posts no it does not matter in the grand scheme...but this is a discussion so it would help to participate cause we all should know it does not matter. The true goal is to see everyone's perceptions....

Thank you....I know return you to your regularly scheduled thread already in progress....

Whatever we respond, people would be naturally driven to believe the opposite of that person in the future, so what's the point? Let people think what they think, don't anylise. When we look too closely at things, they disappear or become very complex.

That is the point....I want to see people's perceptions....The point for me is to see what each person's org experience is like. I don't think people look at things closely enough....

I love being here at the Org
i actually do wonder what people think of me
i think i'm actually nice enough with a bit of dry sense of humour
I know i'm not one of the popular ones but i'm sure i get recognised

i quiet like all the people here, some i would love to chat to personally to get to know them a little better
but hell i'm such a dumbass i never know how chat really works
i've been in there and walk in with a Hi (like Wendy does in PR) and i never get any responses (maybe the answer lies there into what people think of me)
anyhoo, love the Porg and the people on it, u Sinister are actually one of my faves (& no i'm not sucking up) i enjoy ur threads :hugs: smile
WHY SHOULD I DO THAT, WHEN I CAN DO THIS

That is a very general warning....so your saying people should just see the surface and don't think things through? Life can be complex....shutting off your brain does not always make it easier...

I view the org on a computer big grin

But the org is just something to do for fun. I generally think message boards are cathartic and this just happens to be the one I post on the most.

I think I am viewed on the org as this crazy right winged lunatic which couldn't be further from the truth but because the PR forum is slanted almost extreme left moderate right seems extreme right in there.

But in person everyone I have actually met has been real nice and I think people generally like me when they meet me.

No? I think everyone could do with dumbing down a little, throwing snowballs at postmen and stuff. I'm not thinking about that poor person's benefit cheque getting soaked man, I just want that postman to chase my ass.

smile I hear you....Not everything should be over thought and doom and gloom but in my opinion people don't do enough thinking about stuff (in some areas) Just reacting without thought of the cause and effect....

And postmen in my neighborhood shoot people....so I can't do that sad Where do you live so I can get chased? smile

Scotland, land of history, hills and self-deprication. Your postmen shoot people? Wow, Clintastic. You are a very young adolecent country, though. Your great, great grandchildren may yet hurl a ball of ice at a man without getting brains and blood all over their clothes, in hope and dreams we all trust.

Mailmen in my neighborhood are like extras from Mad Max disbelief Going to the post office you see them shouting as you enter "2 man enter 1 man leave!!" Madness I tell you....

I see the org as a pleasant enough diversion where I can read things for a laugh, every now and again interact. Some days you guys are the only adults I even speak to! I don't get out and about as often as I'd like to, and with an hour on here I usually get breaking news (ie - heard about the tsunami here first) can get photoshop help, find out how to tune a ukulele, get advice on parenting, information about breast reductions, you name it I can get it here where other forums are not active for months on end.
I don't really have time to enter heated debates, though i like to read them, and I get a secret thrill when someone responds to me favorably biggrin it makes me feel special!
I LIKE the nonsense stuff too, the quizzes. The org is like daycare for adults.
