TO ANY UK ORGERS!!!

While I was out shopping 2day, I saw in a travel agents window adverts requiring apprentice Foreign Exchange and Travel Agents!! I am considering applying for either one of those positions, but the thing is I am 47!! Is 47 considered too old 2 b considered as an apprentice here in the UK?? In the USA u can b considered as an apprentice and trainee at 57 or even 67 if u are will ing 2 work, but here its totally different!!

Any opinions please would b appreciated!! Thanks!!

IF you're the right person for the position, age is irrelevant.

But it depends on the job. The one you refer to - age shouldn't matter in the slightest. Apply for "trainee lap dancer" and there may be an issue.

i wish you all the best.

It's just a word.

It doesn't denote a particular length of time - depends on the job/profession.

Cloudbuster adminsters the flogging and a huge crowd gathers waving banners.
