It seems there's a new fashion in England. It's called Happy Slapping.

It began in music clubs, where friends would film, with their cell phones, other friends slapping someone as a joke, but soon it became worse. A lot of kids these days are filming themselves hitting strangers on the street and sometimes involving other crimes such as stealing. The videos are then published through the cellular netweork.

In one movie you can see a woman standing at a bus stop, and a guy stands next to her, when suddenly he punches her in the face.
Another video shows a guy beating up and old man in front of an ATM machine while another steals the money.

Something's really messed up with these kids And it's getting worse every day.

I don't like fighting, never been in a serious fight before, but what they're doing just screams "teach them a lesson they won't forget soon".

They would certainly get a beating, and i would lob their phone somewhere just for good measure.

Nobody under the age of 13 needs a phone.

Irritating cell phone users. Cluttering up the radiowaves with their; "Where are you? I am here!"-conversations.

Stuff like that never happens to me.

When they go to jail, they'll get it real good.

Does anyone remember that thing with the homeless people fighting? Basically a group of people offered homeless people money to scrap with each other on film. It had a catchy name. So catchy I can't recall it right now.
