What Book Is Your Nose In?

got it over the weekend and i'm completely into it. i love a book that takes a benign, even creepy subject, and puts a fascinating spin on it with good writing and a nice, crisp pace. i think i would like this man to write my authorized biography. biggrin

Well, it sounds better than that narnia madness.

I'm reading "Revenge of the Sith". It's all too shocking.

someone reading the episode III novelization is razzing ME for reading the narnia books? neutral

i'm trying to keep myself pure for the movie. i've already seen too many spoiler pics, but it's kinda like a virgin who's given a hummer or two. i still have some untrod fields left, i think.

i read all the narnia books over the holidays. i think my favorites were 'the magician's nephew' and of course 'the lion, the witch and the wardrobe'. i do really like the idea of the prince and the silver chair, though.

Aslan mushy worship I sooooo wanted to be the kids who got to ride him, and pet him... I bawled my eyes out when he died, and equally when he was resurrected.

Oh, it is. thumbs up! I'm almost finished now....I'm on chapter 2 in part 3. The nadsat language has been throwing me off a little at times though. So far this has been the only interesting book, other than Brave New World, I've had to read for this class.

If you've got the latest edition I think there's a glossary in the back, but you don't need it. The language in that book is really addicting in a way.

Have you seen the movie?
