Today I went to a Chinese restaurant, where there was a hot pot set in the table and you cooked your own meat and fish etc etc.

The prawns (shrimp) were live in a basket, skewered on a stick, still kicking their cute lil legs, and my boss wanted to put them out their misery by sticking them in the boiling soup giving them a quick death.

I thought this would be fun and asked if I could..

Well I couldnt resist but torture them a bit, and stuck it in the hot water live, and pulled it out, and then stuck them in again and watched them change colour and pulled them out again..

Claire went mad and grabbed my hand and told me to let go of them and stoo being so cruel..

I wasnt being cruel, I was just playing..

They're nasty little creatures anyway. I'd torture them too, but sure as hell wouldn't eat 'em.

When I was young, I used to fry small living crabs lying on their back on a bed of matches on the beaches of Cape Cod.....what was also fun was smashing living horse-shoe against the rocks, just to see their blue blood....
