Whatever you do don't lower your standards. Don't settle for less. That signals that you have given up.
People don't like to admit it but looks are important. if you don't find a woman good looking don't hook up with her just because you are tired of being alone. Wait for that hot looking one. You won't regret it. | |

Is it shallow? So you think someone should just settle so they won't be alone?? That's not fair to yourself or the person you are settling for. I find the thought of lowering one's standards very depressing. Aim for the best. There is nothing wrong with being picky. You just want the best for yourself. Nothing wrong with that. You just may have to wait a little longer than someone who will accept just any girl that comes along. | |

I can see your point. Looks are pretty high up there with me. Yes, the woman has to be more than a pretty face--but the her looks is kind of like a college degree. The Degree gets you into the interview, but you still have to pass the interview. | |

That's what my best friend says....but, honestly, why should I? I have my criteria and there's no reason for me to settle for less....maybe I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but once I find that girl, I'm going to treat her like a princess....
