I refused to get it b/c I thought What's the point when i can just call this person?

I was stuck on the train the other night next to an 18 year old pimp who looked like WALDO from Van Halen's HOT FOR TEACHER video (I'm not kidding!) -

and he was making all these calls and I couldn't move my seat b/c it was a filled train and it happened to be the same day i got text messaging...i was able to vent away on text messaging rather than have to talk loud like he was.

On a side note, he was trying to be all secretive making calls looking for drugs, etc. and I finally turned to him and said "If you need pot THAT bad, i'll give you a number of someone I know!" The woman across from me started clapping.

Anyway the REAL story is...I'm addicted to text messging now! I love it!

Texting is cool if you're out of your area...a LOT cheaper than roaming!
