In this day and age, why would they make superman so retro looking? he looks as out of date as Billy Zane did in the Phantom.


They should have updated him like the picture below.

Superman needs some

I seem to recall Superman having a blue and white suit in the comics for a while, and a lot of the hardcore fansa bitched about the change. Perhaps with a "classic" character like Supe it's better to keep things the way they are?

On the other hand, the X-Men have been around I believe since the 60's, and their movie costumes were a VAST improvement. But then again, without having seen the movie, I could tell you that Halle Berry's outfit in Catwoman was pretty fucking ridiculous looking.






Oh, and Billy Zane looked cheesy in The Phantom more because it was a crap-tacular movie than how his costume was designed.

First the Batman Forever and Batman & Robin movies, then the Catwoman outfit, and now this. Marvel is kicking DC's ass when it comes to movies.
