My aunt always had a lot of riff raff hanging round the house. She'd let anyone sleep there if they paid her money. Well one of my cousins friends was a drug addicted high school dropout and was crashing for a few days. I came home to his ravings one day. He was in the kitchen yelling and screaming how there was never any food in the house "There is never any milk in this goddamned house!!"

With that he grabbed a cat who had just had kittens and held her up, raving "this is the only way to get any milk in this fucking house" and he lifted the cat to his mouth and started sucking on her teets!

Problem is some people are offended by breast-feeding.

What irritates me is the attitude that mothers should be able to breast-feed wherever they want because it's `natural`, or `it's their baby and it's hungry`.

There are alterantives to going into a public place where people are eating and doing something that some people may find offensive.

what?? stay in your house like a recluse until your child is weaned??? thats just ridiculous. some people (those who are offended) just need to grow up and stop looking at the breast as a sexual object and instead regard it as it was intended. my son REFUSED to take a bottle....there was no way in hell i was going to hide at home like a hermit. its beautiful, natural and the best thing for your child. i was discreet and 99% of the time noone had a clue what i was doing when feeding my son. a funny story actually...i was in the food court nursing my son and an elderly lady was seated beside me. she said "awww...is the baby sleeping" and looked under the receiving blanket....i said "no, he's eating" but by then it was too late, she had already looked. neither of us were embarressed but she kept saying she was sorry over and over and over again.

Normally I agree that people with that kind of attitude can fuck themselves but people need seriously to get over their issues with the breast. Women should not have to hide or seclude themselves. It's a different thing if a woman rips off her top and latches her kid on in public but must women are discreet and even if you see a flash of boob, the baby is eating. How can anyone have a problem with a child being fed? It's bizarre that people have an issue with this.
