i was at the 999 gig at le nouveau casino in paris last wk. the bass player (arturo) had emailed me through the fansite to get me in for free and meet the band they truly were a great bunch of guys.they were impressed i'd travelled from glasgow to see em, nick cash (vocals) yea thats his name, said to me "danny theres plenty free food, fruit, soft drinks and beer ! dont you pay for anything tonight if anyone asks your with us ok" OK he gave me an access all areas pass and said "you come backstage anytime you want" they played all the 999 faves , emergency, feelin alright with the crew, nasty nasty, and the classic homicide !!! after the gig they signed a cd and dvd for me and guy (guitarist) invited me to tag along with them to a bar in paris later that night it was quite funny outside in the street after the gig a french girl came up to me and introduced herself as anna 999 fan and so very pleased to meet me ,... she was soooo.... drunk she thought i was in the band !

so maybe i'm the bez of 999 the cool guy in the band who really isnt in the band at all

nick also asked me to pass a message from him to ... mick jones (clash) and tony james (gen x).they are touring now as carbon silicon, they play glasgow 22nd may nick said "tell em i was asking for them especially tony , he was the first bassist in 999"

so ive got my orders shouldnt be a problem mick n' tony are very aproachable !
