I came here with a preconceived idea of how we should discuss Prince, and got shot down right away.

I did a lot of lurking untill I found myself in gd posting now and then, but getting to know people

When my son ran away and I talked about it here I came to know the true org: some very very good people, some fairly decent people, and a few real assholes.

My first orgnotes were from Martina, Paddy, and Kelley, and I remember all of them.

I remember that it was all a bit overwhelming, it was the first site I rolled onto once I got internet (at work, initially) and I remember being freaked when there were no black pages anymore.

Then all them boards! And the chatroom. My first addiction to Org was established by Org. The fact you could joke around, flirt and tease and get news about Prince at the same time was grrrreat!

Lots of the people I used to hang with then are now gone or in different places and I guess I will be too one day. Just not now, hehehe.

Let's see, most notable people missing for me are Aaron, LaVish and IceNine. It's weird that of the last people I never even knew their real names. Oh well.

THe thing I liked then in the chatroom it was FUN. There was flirting, sure, but not as tacky as it became at a certain point, so I moved on to the forums. LOTS of tackiness there too, but at least you can steer around it, kinda.

What made the biggest impact though was realising you were communicating with people on the other side of the world. Like I said, it was the first site I used to get into contact with people. THe overwhelming sense that you were talking with people from other societies with different moralities; WOW.

I noticed when often my humour went awry because I am quite direct and can be forceful when I want to prove a point. Some people HATED me (maybe still do) for that, while I am one big pussy in real life. LoL

I remember the good times I had with TheJoker who was the first orger I talked to and orgnoted. So that we became really close and still are (This last for more than two years now )

I remember having good laughs with DawnRose, Lace17 ans Redfeathers (on GD and in the Chatroom) about "da pimp of the year" (UknowWho!! )

I remember the "Love Sex & Relationship" Forum

I remember dieting advices and cool stuff shared with Panthagirl (we miss u dear!!! )

I remember CokeJohnson telling me I was sooooo "french" (I still don't get it )

I remember people who where nice to me when I needed to confide (Freespirit )

I remember nothing.

I started coming here in spring 2000,so those are considered the "early days" to me....


I remember the vicious posts from a guy known as "sfarrell".

I remember Bart and his constant negative posts,complaining about everything that Prince does

I remember the various Prince imposters such as "purple_pie" and "holdon2urwigz".


I remember the legendary "Kellyanne" who fought with everyone

I remember the insane guy who used to always inform us that he "likes pizza" and that he "has a wallet"

I remember the hilarious King Sausage,who rarely posts here anymore

I remember the infamous "crash-and-burn" of the General Discussion forum.Things got so crazy that Ben shut it down for awhile.

I remember the late-night chats with Calhoun Sq and Christopher,where we discussed everything from 'Beat Street' to Haagen Daz ice cream,lol.

I remember when klhk was WILD...lol...she recently made a comeback,but she's not nearly as crazy and naughty as she was before

There's another thing I remember. I know I've mentioned this before...

I remember Christopher and some girl (Pink87 or some shit) and I think another guy got into this HUGE fight over the use of the "Symbol" or something like that.

Christopher didn't really care, but this girl kept coming back at him accusing him of disrespecting the symbol or whatever, and things got more and more heated!

I think by the ends of the thread they became friends. Man it was a site to watch Chris getting all riled up! I think he told the girl to go back to nail school or something! LMAO!

This was on the old Black and Purple.

I remember the Sand Dolla thing and thinking what the hell is a sand dolla? apparently it's some fossil of some kind encased in resin if I recall. The thread was Prince broke my Sand Dolla, it was hilarious!

My first post on this version of the Org was "where am I?" not everybody signed up for this version which is a shame. Whatever happened to Luvzion?
