I suppose it could be considered a "Weapon of Mass Destruction" if I clobbered enough people over the head with it. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

Yup. The camera is on the U.S. side of the border, looking into Canada. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

Did you jump on it like Matt? I actually took a pic right there too. It appears to be a park but in fact is the land locked between Canada and the US! So very beautiful. My brother took me through that entry. Thanks for the memories! | |

It actually is a park... or two parks, to be precise. The U.S. side is Peace Arch State Park, maintained by the state of Washington, and the Canadian side is Peace Arch Provincial Park, maintained by the province of British Columbia. However, the park is, in a sense, "locked between" the two countries because most of the park is south of the Canadian border checkpoint and north of the U.S. checkpoint. You can enter from either country, and as long as you stay within the park, you don't have to clear customs and immigration.
