I've lost weight, finally...mrdespues' 8-step program I've lost 4-5 kgs since I've been back from the States.
Just thought I'd let you in on how I THINK I did it for anyone who's interested. I think at least some of the following must have contributed to my weight loss: 1. Eat about half as much as usual and eliminate junk food where possible. 2. Exercise at least once a week for up to an hour. 3. Indulge in alcohol or other "soft" drugs occasionally (eg. or 4. Be happy, have fun, learn to shrug off whatever gets to you. 5. Eliminate all addictions. 6. Have a look at the way you used to look in photos and visualise yourself looking that way again (I'm convinced that "mind over matter" really works - in other words, "think thin"). 7. Avoid stress where possible. 8. If you're on any kind of medication, consider living without it. One of the biggest factors I think for me is that since I've been off medication (stopped it about 2 months ago), I've been much more MYSELF than in the last 3 years I was on it. The mind affects the body, so if you have something altering the way your brain naturally works, your body will reflect that. In other words, do everything in moderation...I'm not saying it'll work for everyone, but those things seem to have worked for me.

Man, Try a 15 day De-Tox, That shit rocks!
Go 2 a health food store and buy one of those Detox kits and follow the eating plan. I done one a few years back and it was the best thing I have ever done (im gonna do another one soon). Warning though, the first 3 days are shitty, the change of diet and the toxins coming out of ya will cause u headaches or migranes and u think "Why the hell am I doing this", but hang in there, after that it's all good. Not only u lose weight, u feel 150% better, less tired, etc. playa . [Edited 4/17/05 6:29am] Xperience the Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com/
