Cheating because they've cheated on you is really weak. It's exactly the same as cheating in circumstances where your partner hasn't cheated.

Chatting in a certain way could be cheating. It's all about the intent and I guess even if you're not really going to do anything you can still break someone's trust which can be just as damaging to them and the relationship.

Then there's the whole problem what to do after you find out you've been cheated on. In short, cheating doesn't have to mean the end of the relationship if you really love each other. However it is a last warning something really needs to change.

Don't give me that shit that if you really love someone you wouldn't have cheated in the first place. That's simply not always true. Love is a complex thing and sometimes you hurt the ones you love the most.
