DeNiro is the man. There's something weird about Pachino these days. ever since that Scarface role. 
and yes DeNiro need to be a little more discriminating when it comes to roles, but i guess with DeNiro its all about the dinero.  | |

Pacino - hands down.
While I think DeNiro is a fine actor, Pacino is better and has made smarter movie choices. | |

It depends on the role... Pacino is more sparse these days, therefore more exciting. I probably like DeNiro better but he's made some shit choices the past few years & I'm tired of seeing him do by the numbers performances. At least w/ Pacino I haven't seen his by the numbers bullshit just last week

DeNiro every time for me Both great actors, but face it, when was the last great De Niro film? "Heat" or "Casino" in 1996? He hasn't made a decent film since. Pacino, conversely, has been making more good to great films than bad since "Revolution" (anyone see that? - I did). There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. Has anyone ever seen Al in an early 70's movies called Panic in Needle Park? He's a drug addict and he was amazing in this role. I've seen every movie he's made and he's been great in 99% of them. Not to mention that he just so fine (even now in his 60's). | |
