I've been dreading this for weeks but tomorrow is the day! I'm having a root canal at 10:15 am and then the crown prep Thursday at 9 am! Two days back to back! Ouch! -Ouch in the mouth and in my wallet!

I had one last year and you're right it's not too bad. Sort of like having a filling done just bigger and more expensive. I'll be doped up on vicodin afterwards.

Don't worry about it...one time the dentist told me i needed a root canal so i thought he meant on my next visit he was going to do it ..so like a little while later he was like "so how your 1st root canal" im like what??? it turns he did it and i didnt even know!! he made it totally painless..so i wouldnt worry about it too much

My medicine cabinet is like a mini-pharmacy! I've got vicoden in 7.5 mg and 10 mg, some flexural and tramadol, but no precocet and I HATE oxycodone.

I like to chew up my vicoden and wash it down with Canadian Club!

I'm home from the dentist!! It took about 20 mins! No pain or discomfort whatsoever! So if your ever in Cols, GA and need a root canal I can recommend a great doctor for you. I didn't know when I scheduled the appointment, but I know him! I did some decorative wall paint finishes and gold leafing for he and his wife a few years ago- small world!

Anyways- I'm home, my mouth is numb, I just took a vicoden and fixed myself a drink. I'm going to spend the day listening to music and playing on the org!
