If this is what you seek, then you must surround yourself with energy that is congruent to your own sweety. Yes, of course there are people out there that are compatible to your mind and body, but if you are constantly surrounding yourself with those not on your level higher or lower..then you are dooming yourself into that abyss. i understand what you are saying though. if you have all your cards on the table and show just how smart you are people expect great things from you. if you fail or get any type of lesser result they are disappointed. for example...i was tested (I.Q) in middle school and i tested higher then my father (who is a psychomitrist), so when i brought home a B in Math he was upset. a 'B' is above average but since my I.Q was so high he expected me to get all 'A's. that sucked!!!! anyway...thanks for the response...i appreciate your point of view. and girl...i respect your intelligence!!! you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel

I think this place does respect intelligence-- when used creatively. Humor is the best way to show it. Throwing out a bunch of large words, dry sarcasm, and using a bunch of useless facts and examples to support one's position don't hold much weight. Nobody likes a know-it-all even when they're right. I admittedly fall into that category from time to time and the more words I type the more... I ... feel....like... I'm..... preaching.
