Most often called Mannetje, which means as much as Lil' Man.

He is very shy. It took me a year to be able to have him NOT run away when I approached him, two years to pet him, two and a half year to have him on the couch while I was sitting on it and three to have him sit on my lap for like a nano second.

He has been very sick, on the point of me thinking I lost him to his kidney disease, but now he is back on top!

The constant visits to the vet and me having to medicate him forcefully somehow made him very cuddly since. So now he sits on my lap (under certain circumstances) and when I seperate him from my other cat before i go to bed, so he can have his special dietfood (my other cats LOVES the stuff), we have a cuddly moment, which means he lets me pet him relentlessly.

And just now, while getting some more NEW HAIRDO pics, he jumped on the table, as he does every now and then and I took some pics other than the one I had of him!

So yeah, I went a bit overboard...

I only noticed it two years after ihad him cuz he always ran off when i approached him and when I had to lift him (into a basket to the vet, fi) he would fight until SOMEONE was bleeding...

Cute kitty, I used to have a cat named Charlie. He didn't know how to play "nice". He used to tear up my arms really bad, but I loved him. He died. He was Siamese Himalayan, all he had to do was look up at you with those beautiful blue eyes and all was forgiven.

He attacked my ex once.....it was hilarious.

SO glad he's ok. I remember that post you did a while back when he was a sick kitty.


I also had one of my cats sick. A really awful experience. There was this one pill she refused to take...she kept spitting it and throwing it back up...I had to get it in liquid form. (Apparently the pill tastes like lead...no wonder she hated it. I've had enough of syringe feeding to last me a life time. I too though I'd have to put her down...but that was a long time a go...and she's still with me.
