How Does Your Body React To Foods It's Not Used To?

Damn. I was out of water last night so I decided to finally give in and drink some kool-aid instead of getting out and going to buy some water. I am paying for it today!

Anyone else get sick or have "issues" if you put something into your body that you don't normally eat?

Fast food, and some food from restaurants, goes right through me within minutes (which doesn't make for a fun date) and apparently the sugar from the kool-aid doesn't sit well either. It's like our body goes into shock and wants to expel it as soon as possible.

Ugh.

Yes, fast food'll do that (you should eat that crap as little as possible). As for getting sick from foods your body isn't used to, I was a vegetarian for several years and expected to be sick at first when I went back to meat, but nothing happened.

I don't eat out or eat fast food that often, but when I do, I really pay for it, unfortunately.

You would have thought that you would have been a bit sick when going back to meat... very cool that you weren't! Speaking of meat though...

I read somewhere recently that KFC uses chickens that don't have beaks. ill

I can't digest green vegetables well at all. And I love them! I ate a bowl full of brussel sprouts one night and I was sick for days. Figures I eat something good for me and I get sick!

Milk goes right through me in minutes. Also I'm on a diet and I've been eating low fat italian dressing (my stomach hates it)

I react quite badly and I've had food poisoning more times than I care to remember. If I dont like the look of something I wont touch it with a barge pole.

I have an iron clad stomach. I dont remember the last time that I had a stomach ache or digestion problems. I eat pretty healthy though.

I experienced the total oposite. I went back to meat after 3 years of being a vegetarian, and it made me sooooo sick. It was the Arby's beef N cheddar that got me.....I craved it for 3 years and one day gave in....
