We got rid of our car a few months back and I am loving life!!
No alternate side of the street parking, no tickets, no insurance, no traffic!!

it is 99.9cents/per litre here in Saint John. in Halifax it hit $1 per litre yesterday.

2.41 yesterday, 2.39 today. I was talking to the gas station guy and he said that by June it should be close to 3.00 here.

I think it's time they start talking again about dipping into the US's reserves instead of hording it for future use. Who's going to want to take vacations with gas prices that high? The tourist industry across the board is going to suffer even more than before. I'd rather stay home than pay almost $40 to fill my car with a full tank of gas.
