Tomorrow is my first offday in like ten days, so I will post some more info then!
As most mobile phonelines will probably be down, we will schedule a PLACE and a TIME on Queen's Night as well as Queen's Day. Attendees who are there during the daytime on the 29th, can join me on a canalboat-trip. Both Queen's Night as well as Queen's Day are very busy, meaning that it is easy to lose sight of people. So that evening and day I plan to keep scheduling low, meaing that one time and place were we probably take like three hours to convene. LoL, it's THAT busy. I was thinking suck in the pretty amazing sights while making it over to the meet up and stay put in ONE place. It probably means stack up drinks and snacks in daytime 29th to bring to that meet up. It's a STREET party! May 1st is lounge morning, then meet up at OR my place or somewhere in the city-centre for the needful coffee. People who make THAT date might get the Official Amsterdam Org Invasion Present, which means that if you are a REAL Prince fan, you might want to attend, but give warning up front, so I know how many pressies I should bring... After that I was planning a loungy trip to the Van Gogh Museum... for those who also want to do something else but booze up! LoL I will keep in touch with Dawntreader, Dawn74 and Fhunkin and other people who are having the sleepovers to organise coupling Dutchies with the out of towners, as Queen's Night and Day in Amsterdam can be quite overwhelming. Again, a reminder to peeps rolling in from out of town on the 30th; there will be NO public transportation in the packed city center. Also, tens of thousands people will travel from other cities to the festivities in Amsterdam, so if you don't want to be stuck in a train trying to reach Amsterdam Central; BE EARLY! Even though my place is somewhat outside the center, I am offering up my place as an early meeting place. But more on that later. I am still trying to put together two things, which could make the party even more enjoyable, but I will keep you posted! More tomorrow! |
