Well, as crafty as my friend was about playing the literal card, I am just as crafty at playing the figurative card and while most of our friends would buckle under the pressure, it was always a face off between us to see who was going to admit first. He didn't always win 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

And there is nothing more satisfying than tripping up a literal in their own arguments. It’s rare, but it happens. And when it does, it’s better than sex

. [Edited 4/8/05 12:09pm] NOTHING'S better than sex...lol...but I understand what you mean..lol I guess the equivalent for literals is when you lead a Figurative to your point thru more emotional means, when they're putting up walls to the analytical approach...it's like they suddenly find themselves agreeing with what they were just disagreeing with moments before, all because you took a different approach..lol...it's usually met with something like "Yeah...well, no...um, wait...".. That is when it gets real interesting because it’s almost like playing mental dodgeball 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

The problem with us Literals, though, is that we don't always realize that a Figurative just wants to play a nice game of catch in the backyard...lol
