Yes yes yes, you need to SAY it!!! And don't you go mixing your words the wrong way, or we will catch you and corner you. lol

Well, as crafty as my friend was about playing the literal card, I am just as crafty at playing the figurative card and while most of our friends would buckle under the pressure, it was always a face off between us to see who was going to admit first. He didn't always win biggrin

Like a moth to the flame..... Why do you think we've been friends for the past 18 years. One thing both of us thoroughly believe in.....not backing down from a challenge. Once the gauntlet is thrown down, it's on nod

And there is nothing more satisfying than tripping up a literal in their own arguments. It’s rare, but it happens. And when it does, it’s better than sex mushy

lol biggrin

NOTHING'S better than sex...lol...but I understand what you mean..lol wink

I guess the equivalent for literals is when you lead a Figurative to your point thru more emotional means, when they're putting up walls to the analytical approach...it's like they suddenly find themselves agreeing with what they were just disagreeing with moments before, all because you took a different approach..lol...it's usually met with something like "Yeah...well, no...um, wait...".. lol

Yes, that is when you see this doh!

lol It most always fun debating with that fool because both of us know each other so well that we know when the other is trying to steer the argument to catch the other person. That is when it gets real interesting because it’s almost like playing mental dodgeball lol

Mental dodgeball!!... falloff...Oh, that is THE perfect way to define it.. nod

The problem with us Literals, though, is that we don't always realize that a Figurative just wants to play a nice game of catch in the backyard...lol confused
