I left in a huff….offended and tired of what I perceived to be too many mean spirited, sexually explicit and debasing posts and threads.

I deleted my account, swearing to be forever done with the org. More specifically, DONE with those who always seem to “snipe” at others and show open intolerance of others and or their thoughts and questions. I HAD learned to adjust to the org cliques and off-color jokes, but then ….it just got to be too much for me….so I thought!

I lasted a week. One lousy week. I began to have withdrawls and after four days or so I began to lurk, within seven days I recreated my account AND THEN WAS NOT ABLE TO POST FOR FIVE DAYS. That caused me some serious issues distress.

I say all of that, to say, I am back (in the event you were wondering )…tail between my legs, humbled. I now know, that my perspective is my perspective, I will stay away from those who I perceive to be mean and intolerant. I will remain and accept that we are all human, we have our own thoughts and perceptions, and never, and I REPEAT NEVER…throw another temper tantrum.

I have learned my lesson but WHAT is the draw...the hook? Why can't I stay away? Whew...

I haven't posted over at the club for over a week now and the first few days were the hardest but then I fell in love with real life and walks in the fresh spring air. Now it doesn't bother me anymore. I know how you feel. I left the Org last year and it lasted for about one month before I came back. The sex threads come in waves and then they die down. As far as the mean people, just remember the good people that you come here for. It'll be fine.

there's more of a tendency on the org for the meanies to get proper comeuppance, one way or another. i think there's a balance here and if you can look past some of the wackiness that might not be your style, you'll find you're in good hands here.
