Remember the tv show........ "a different world"
A spin off of the dreadfully dated "cosby show", " a different world" was a lot better thanx to faster pacing (thank God as Bill's lectures are the reason why I start feeling hungry because I got so bored), better characters (though the naff lisa bonet was in the first episodes. I assume they dropped her) and were generally funnier. Yeah it was corny as fuck but back when I was a kid, this show was cool. The character who played Dwane appeared in "vampire in brooklyn" and he was good in it too. Same with the underated "panther" by the underated Maro Van Peebles. Jasmine dropped a very good solo album (only 1 though  )
Remember "try me". Still an awesome song thanx to Full Force. Anyway guests like Heavy D, gladys night and the pips would show and the one and only Sinbad came in later too. | |

Shit, this was one of my favorite shows on TV. I could relate to so much b/c I was going to a historic Black College at the time. | |
