because 'normal' people don't think of things in terms of their relation with other things or other ideas.

most people think in concrete instead of in metaphor.

people with an artistic temperament see something deeper in everything they encounter, and they try to communicate certain of those ideas in a way that's original or at least marketable.

'normal' people think this kind of way of looking at thing is a waste of time, and that it's more important to focus on your job, raising your family, paying bills, buying a house, etc. and yes, those things are important.

but some people are more left brained, and some people are more right brained. and some people are ambi-brained. and some people, bless 'em, have no brain at all.

even though the 'normals' might look down on you, don't be too harsh on them. artists need audiences. if it weren't for the 'normals', who'd buy our albums, see our movies, come to our plays, buy our paintings, read our books, etc.?

1. There is really no such thing as "NORMAL". 2. Artistic, creative people are DEFINATELY DIFFERENT however. THATS what produces the creativity. Our minds work differently. We are sensitive, deep, sensual, analytical, and more prone 2 depression, and other mental illnesses as well. Look at EINSTEIN, GEORGE WASHINGTON, BILL CLINTON, HOWARD HUGHES, JOHN LENNON, etcetcetc..... PRINCE? These geniuses are/were plagued with mental problems/depression. 3. Without this integrated in them, they would not have contributed what they have. GENIUS=CREATIVITY=ARTISTRY=DEEP THINKING= ABSTRACTION=TALENT=CRITICAL THINKING=ANALYTICAL THINKING=GOOD PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY... 4. These people are usually loners. 5. ALL of our SENSES are heightened as well. 6. We are definately GIFTED people compared 2 the so called "NORMALCY" of society. 7. However, this BEAUTIFUL GIFT we obtain from GOD can be a CURSE. see, there's no such thing as "Normal" or "abnormal". only what the world wants to believe what is Normal or abnormal. me being an artistic and creative person. we see and hear and feel things alot deeper and harder than most.

artistic and creative people have this rollercoaster of emotion that we can be the bouncy person then be clammed up and quiet. trust me. so no we arent "wacked" lol we just see with different eyes.
