I hope you get along with the other jurors more than anything. That can be a real pain in the ass if it doesn't work out.

I'd love to do jury service, especially some mega drawn-out case.

1. Get paid for it
2. Employer by law gives you time off work and you still get paid

I got to do jury duty a few years ago. It was actually very interesting and even kinda fun. My fellow jurors were pretty cool, though. One girl brought saltwater taffy everyday and another guy taught us all how to salsa dance. We were a rockin jury. smile

I just hope that the case doesn't hinge around a dispute over fabric colours:

"Your Honour, I maintain that this jacket is PURPLE"

"Aw come ON it is NOT"

etc etc

I'm witcha' Taureau. The last time I was on a jury it was for a week. I got paid from jury duty and I got paid like I was a work too. It was a cool one-week paid vacation. The other jurors were coo;, we usually went to lunch together.
We were paid $9.00 for the first 3 three days, every day thereafter we were paid $25.00.

I find that walking in and looking at random jury members, and screaming "Guilty!!!" helps in avoiding being picked if you so wish.

biggrin
