The Talented Mr. Ripley is not a gay movie but it has some homo erotic tension (between Jude Law and Matt Damon and Peter). It's R rated but this movie makes me HOT!!
Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

Love, Valor, and Compassion- A group of middle age gay friends with AIDS come to a summer house in every year to spend the last of their days together. That was pretty good.

But I'm a Cheerleader- Satire. This girl who her friends and family think have "homosexual tendecies" is sent to a camp that's supposed to make her straight...which doesn't work....That was pretty good...

Twilight of the Gold( i think...can't remember...) Two parents find out their child is gay and debate on whether or not to carry out the pregnancy.

Beautiful Thing- Another coming of age young gay boy story. In English. Not American english, England english.

Bound- With Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly. The wife of a mob boss falls in love with a female theif planning to steal from her husband. THAT was a good ass movie.

Damn. There's a whole bunch more i've seen but i really can't remember them right now, but you've probably seen a couple if not all of those.

Loved these:

Parting Glances
Torch SOng Trilogy
Longtime Companion
Boys don't cry

I'd add DESERT HEARTS - early Lesbian film, very good. I agree with Bound, I want Gina to top me. I really enjoyed BEAUTIFUL THING, I'm an anglophile. And all I have to say about BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER is EDDIE CIBRIAN. He is my number 1. He can do whatever he wants to me. The scene where he's in shorts doing yard work and flirting with RU-PAUL(out of drag) from afar. WHAT!!!!! When I saw that part I thought I was going to lose my damn mind.

Parting Glances was the first really good gay themed movie I saw. I was young when I saw it. It really gave me hope.

I'm still looking for that perfect gay movie. I want them to make THE DREYFUSS AFFAIR already damn-it. I hope they don't fuck BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN up.

Forgot about Beautiful Thing...Great Movie.

The Sum of Us also very good! Russell Crowe before he was Russell Crowe.

Let's not forget Querelle And Greenaway (pillow book, Cook thief wife and lover) has many homoerotic images in his movies.

The Sum of Us. Yesssss!!!!

The relationship between Russel Crowe's character and his father in that movie is the same between me and my dad.

My dad always asks me if I have a boyfriend yet. He doesn't like me being alone.

It's funny how when they mention Russell's movies from the past, this one is NEVER mentioned.

What's scary is that all of the movies everyone is mentioning I have on either DVD or VHS.

One of my guilty pleasures is THE BROKENHEARTS CLUB. I love the part where Dean Cain, who is always the dumper, is dumped by Michael Bergin. Billy Porter is really funny in this movie. It's very Hollywood and predictable but I enjoy it.

A plus for me was that they included a song by a very underrated songstress, Cree Summer.

Go Fish...I know Rose Troche and Guinevere Turner (I think they dated) You may be talking about Gwen...she's pretty. Rose just directs and writes. (Taking me baaack to my Youth Center Horizons where those two volunteered...Rose was the one who enlightened me to the theme of Eurythmics Savage...and we had the same shirt)

Dean Cain drool Though I never saw it...has that guy from Frasier in it too..

Sum of us has that Crowded House song that I fell in love with after that movie (better be home soon).

Anyone here did NOT like the Crying Game? I thought it was OK and was so not shocked at the "surprise"

BrokerHearts Club is pretty much eye candy so don't expect too much if you see it. The guy from Frasier is in it, the dad. The guy from SCRUBS, Zach Branff is in it.

I really like the Crying Game, I enjoyed Amanda Richardson. FIERCE. I didn't guess before the unveiling. My best friend did though.

I just recently rented tons of gay movies:

Bulgarian Lover - interesting, gorgeous co-star SPANISH
Sugar - kind of disturbing American/Canadian?
Cowboys and Angels - all right. Irish
Locked Up - semi porn German
Testosterone - just bad. American/Argentinian

Can’t forget this one…great movie

Very Tragic Film. Though released after the “gay rule” which was all gay characters have to be deviants or die at the end…the main character still died.

Never saw it, but it was one of the first

One of the first gay movies I can recall. Classic.

Great Minds think alike. That's what all my friends call it. BAREBACK MOUNTAIN. It doesn't have to be porno but I want them to get hot and heavy, some tongue would be good. The book is very very nasty. I already have stills of Heath Ledger naked jumping into a lake. They used a stund double for Jake Gyllenhall, pussy.

I saw THE BOYS IN THE BAND. It's pretty good. GAY DRAMA TO THE TENTH POWER. There's this queen on there that makes me laugh. Everytime he hears something that he doesn't like he says "TURNING". It's kind of his way of reading someone and snapping their fingers at them at the same time. It makes me laugh.

Yes, I loved Maurice. That was with Hugh Grant and I forget the other guy's name. I fell in love with the character Scudder. The actors name is Rupert Graves. I get my British Ruperts mixed up, I think that's his name. It was a very romantic movie.

Almodovar is one of my favorites. He's up there with WATERS and ARAKI. ARAKI did a movie called TOTALLY FUCKED UP and NOWHERE, both had gay themes in them. And who can forget THE LIVING END.

Did anyone see ALL ABOUT THE GUY? That's another pretty good funny gay movie about dating and self loathing.

Okay as disgusting as it may sound, do you remember the scene in DOOM GENERATION when Johnathan Schaech's character is watching JAMES DUVAL AND ROSE MCGOWAN in the bathtub. Johnathan is jacking off. Did you see what he does when he's through. ughhhh!! That part turns me on sooooo much.

Because of this movie, I love Johnathan, Rose and James. They're all crazy.
