Thank you for saying that, now I don't feel like a molestor. It's those damn eyes. He wasn't transluscent. He had long nails and they concentrated on his mirror-type glasses. Long nails? Now even more and !!! Hot DAMN! Horny edit [Edited 4/5/05 13:42pm]

I've just read on another forum, that director Robert Rodriguez promises when the DVD comes out, the three stories intertwined in the movie will be available individually on a seperate DVD complete with the cut scenes intact!

Horny edit [Edited 4/5/05 13:42pm] MAY BE SPOILER*****MAY BE SPOILER***** Elijah's character is kind of bizarre. He's a young guy that has long nails that cause serious damage when he's fighting. His face never changes expression throughout his entire segment. What made me laugh is that he had a shirt that had a stripe like the one Charlie Brown wears. I'm sure that was done on purpose. He was more Charles Manson than Charlie Brown. Then again, he was Jeffrey Dahmer the seond. Everytime they showed him his glasses were glowing. It was cool. Very creepy. I saw it last night. Wow. I'm still processing what I thought of it. Having never read the comic it was based on and only seeing a short preview I barely remembered I didn't really know what to expect. My goodness, what a dark, dark film. The aesthetics were simply gorgeous. And that alone was worth it. And I must say I loved the cast. But wow. So violent. I have a hard time watching violence these days, even as stylized as this was. Yes - my thoughts about it exactly! It was like a comic book come to life. Mickey Rourke (who is unrecognizable anyway) was great as that super-human kind of thing. I enjoyed all the performances, actually. Did you know that Robert Rodriguez had to quit the DGA in order for himself and Frank Miller to have dual directing credits? And... where's my CD mix, girl?!?! [Edited 4/5/05 16:08pm] VOTE....EARLY

Actually, I think anyone could enjoy this that likes gritty crime drama or film noir. Its not remotely a superhero flick. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
