Could anyone tell me or point me in the right direction on the web for information on using a buisness name if it exists in another country already?

Have you tried "Business names international" in Google?



That's what I would do.

Go to a registry office to search names in your country, and out of country, you will need confirmation to use that corporate name. If you use some one elses, then they can sue you.

Or seek the advise of a lawyer who practises Corporate Law
