Dex, I lurk here just to read your posts!! My God!!! I knew it was something serious last week when you wrote that you almost died, but you didn't give any details. I am so glad you are doing well. Your posts make me think on a higher plane. You do so much with your students and I believe that you are still here because you have more to give.

Good God baby...I am so glad to hear you are alright. what a scary experience. it would have been bad enough if you had been walking home or taking a cab...but driving home!!!!! it could have ended worse....much much worse. i am so thankful you are ok. dayum, i haven't even made it out to visit yet!!!!! btw...when i do....we are NOT hanging out with the ass you suspect did this to you!!!!

Maybe you got drugged but you will never know without getting tested.
Some research was recently done on the phenononom of "drink spiking" in Australia. People continuously come into the emergency wards at hospitals complaining that they have been drugged due to drink spiking. In the vast majority of cases there is no trace of drugs. People just dont realise how much alcohol they have drunk. Some days our tolerences are lower than others too i.e if your sick, tired or dehydrated. Whilst drink spiking does occur, and people should be aware, the risks of it happpening are overstated and blown out of proportion by our fear mongering media. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |
