I can't fucking sleep!

It's 3.45 am here right now, and I can't sleep. I have assorted aches and pains probably because of psychosomatic problems, and one issue is where my body from between the shoulderblade down feels restless/like something's crawling downwards. Restless legs but in more of the body. I have run out of the painkillers that work best for this, so I'm now stuck half awake and half asleep, with the ability to be neither fully cos I took two sleeping pills before bedtime.

All I wanna do is get some sleep, is that too much to ask? cry

Thx girl, but I physically can't lie still - my body twitches on its own... if I force myself to lie still I get panic attacks cos my body feels like it's crawling with bugs... on the inside boxed

Just talked to the medical advice hotline, they think I should try to put my legs up high and massage them...I asked "what about the rest of my body?" but they didn't have a good reply for that.

My sister suffers from... well she calls them tremors. Her legs seemingly have seizures and she really can't stop them.

She was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia... but then later diagnosed with... something else. I always forget the medical diagnosis.

She still suffers from "shaking uncontrollably" mostly in her lower extremities.

If she over works, physically... most likely she will have her shaking episodes. Now... well, they kinda come unexpectedly.

Strange how the body reacts... and for many different medical/personal reasons.

I feel awful to see her go through this... and her children worry when they see.

I hope it all resides for you... thinking of you Jen.

Awww, thanks Julie heart hug It was the first time the limbs literally moved on their own, before I've felt some control but yesterday it was gone - arms, legs and head moved on their own disbelief I believe I have what your sister has, but right now I'm not willing to fight for a physical diagnosis. I'm depressed and get medicines for the psychosomatic manifestations of this, it works and I don't work that much, I'm fine most of the time. Nobody knows whether fibromyalgia is caused by depression or the other way around, I really don't care either. I just know I don't wanna feel like this.

Got some sleep though, after taking more painkillers and one more sleeping pill confused I'm sooooo fresh today..... not. neutral

Thanks again, you're always so supportive and good mushy

No, just in the evening. It's fine if I take the special kind of painkiller at night, they last all day until the next evening, but I ran out. Guess who's going to the pharmacy today arrow Jen

A suggestion would be to learn meditation.

You would be surprise at how fast you can relax, and soothe the body into oblivion.

Never exercise before bedtime, for obvious reasons.

Taking a walk outside may help though?
