Show me a painting or work of ART U LIKE

It can be modern or classic.

Explain why you like it.

I've chosen a piece by H.R. Giger. I love his imagry, even if his themes are so repetitious.

Monet...I love this one from him because it makes me feel happy, it gives me a sense of peace, tranquility and happiness...it brings back all the good memories I've had. It stirs up my emotions and I love it.

Yeah. The Dali Museaum is 40 minutes from my house. IT's amazing how detailed his paintings where--the prints don't do the originals justice.

'Santiago el Grande' by Salvador Dali. it is overwhelming, stunning, all encompassing....i have never seen such a detailed and beautiful work of art that is so large....height 407.67cms, width 304.8cms. it was a gift to the Fredericton Beaverbrook Art Museum in my province. i have gone and sat in front of its magnificence many times...and every time still experience the awe of the first time.

wink
you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel horny

Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.

i love, love and adore marcel dzama's art. i love how he uses muted, earthtone colors to illustrate surreal, over-the-top images. i love that he paints with root beer. i love the way he draws people. i love that he has recurring images in his work. i love his sense of humor and his sense of darkness and the way both come together in his work.

i actually had this picture framed in my apartment for a while, but i replaced it with a different dzama print. my best friend got me a portfolio of a bunch of dzama prints for my birthday a couple of years ago, so i alternate prints every month or two.

the farewell of Telemachus and Eucharis by Jacques-Louis David

i heart it because it's romantic and sad at the same time. you can't really tell from this picture, but in person the colors are so vivid and fresh, and the realism of the scene is beautiful.

as old skoolers go, i really like bosch. his work doesn't look like it was of his time...it looks like kind of a twisted, anguished reflection.
