Hmmm...I have enjoy so many over the years....I can't recall many of my favorites from as a Kid but a few were

Gauntlet
Dagons Lair
Mappy
Leperchaun

ANd I had an Atari 2600 that I played all the time

But my top ones as an adult are

The Sims (Spent Many many a late night getting them to get married, conjure spells and rock out)

Twisted - 3DO - Was a game Show...for up to 4 players. Hilarious like cancer

Mario Party 4 & 6 - ALways a good time

System Shock 2 - I didn't finish as I upgraded to a new system that did not support it. I could get a patch and play on my laptop, I suppose, but I rarely play games on it.

Myst - Never completed it...got far though. Grat Game

Descent/Doom/Duke Nukem - All shootem up games of one ilk or another

Tales of Symphonia - Had to put it down...I am stuck and can go no further. mad It's a recent game for the Game Cube...Yeah its an RPG...but a good one.

The Zelda ones were interesting...but too hard.

You mentioned Doom. Did you start off on Wolfenstein? In fact isn't there a cheat in Doom that gives you a Wolfenstein level? Doom was ACE...I remember at uni there'd be about 10 of us up all night in the comp. sci. lab fighting each other cloud9

Yeah Descent was cool! Also the original half-life thumbs up! I also spent a lot of time on Sim City when it first came out, before games like Syndicate and then Age of Empires took over.

Now it's all MMRPG's pout I was addicted to NWN for MONTHS and eventually had uninstall and bin the disks as it got too much. Those games are EVIL.

Doesn't matter now, I said my piece on games. So yeah that lobster quote was very good. Stimulating in fact. I'd rather it jam-jam wobble to the cabbage-basket but moo-moo squirrel says "no!" shrug

Hey!

(Again!)

I have to mention Sonic. Sonic 1,2,3, Spinball and
Sonic&Knuckles are my favorites.
I still own them for Megadrive, but my Megadrive is not in proper order to work.
I had to play Sonic 2 on emulator to feed my hunger of nostalgy.

I don't know do I like any other videogames than Sonic. Nowadays I play Stepmania
or Dance Dance Revolution. It's nice to play it, but I'm not really in love with
it. I just want to compete with the game.
I like shoot'em'ups, they're cool. But new games don't impress me so much.
I like Duke Nukem 3D. I also enjoy playing Tetris. One of the greatest PC-games
is Monopoly for PC. It's so great to play it with your friends!
(Of yeah, I do like Doom. It's great to play Doom as team-play!)

Well, that's it! Bring in the next response!

No it's the other way around...PC now Game Cube.

My beefs with GCN are there are no Adult games that don't involve military. One of my favorites was System Shock...which was a RPG Sci-fi. I like more puzzles and figuring things out than I am with Bosses and crap like that. Really tricky moves needed...I am not good at either...ala SOnic and Zelda. I found Metriod Prime VERY hard. ALso all of the 4 player are for kids...including the Mario Parties. There's nothing even close to a Myst or anything like that. Nothing terribly intriguing. GCN goes for Sure Fire Hits.

There is also more games for other platforms too.
