go see this movie! danny boyle, the director of trainspotting, shallow grave, 28 days, and a life less ordinary, has made a fantastic feel good movie. don't let that scare you off, lol, its not corny at all! its a feel good movie in the way that billy elliot was a feel good movie. i went to see it last night with a few friends and, honestly, i wasn't expecting much but i was very surprised.

two brothers find a bag of money near their new house. the one brother uses the money to buy friends and favors in his new town while the younger brother - who believes he talks to saints - wants to give to the poor. i don't want to give anything away - i hate when people give away too much or build a movie up to much - so i'll let you look it up yourself and decide for yourself if you're interested in it. i'll just say that it was great commentary (in a not-preachy kind of way) on society.
