Even with all the HOT new shows that have started, TV still seems to be crap!

I am so mad mad I made the new years resolution to watch more (yes MORE) TV this year, and it looked like it was going to be good viewing on free to air this year. I started watching about 4 series and 4 weeks later the only thing I tune in for is The Amazing Race. Every night there are 4 crime/forensic investigation shows on prime time. Since I strongly disagree with murder as entertainment, this leaves little else. sad

i think it's really stupid that they're making an american version of 'the office', but then i realized: a) at least it's not another damn reality show; and b) at least it's not another tired-ass sitcom about some schlubby working-class slob married to an improbably hot model wife, with precocious little wisecracking brats and aging b-list celebrity in-laws.

and i guess it won't hurt that steve corel is playing the david brent part...i have a soft spot for daily show people, what can i say...

but it still looks like it'll be a sucktacular.

i've been a big fan of the shows '24' and 'alias' over the past few years, but it's all i can do to tape both shows each week to watch 'em later. i think 'alias' has jumped the shark hard, and '24'...i dunno...i think the gimmick is played out, not to mention i really freakin' miss dennis haybert and penny hearald johnson (or howevs ya spell it...she played First Lady Mac).

Medium is my favorite show on the list. You should try it again.

After the Coupling travesty, I was horrified to hear NBC was redoing The Office.

But then I started seeing ads which made me laugh. Then I saw review after review saying it's actually quite good. Then, they scheduled the premier between The Apprentice and E.R.

And now, I will be watching the show... boxed

I try to limit my TV...to at least entertaining stuff. I hate most reality tv (though I get sucked into American Idol boxed)

I watch Desperate Housebeasts and Lost (which I am starting to like a lot more now). I watch 24 and have been a fan from the start, but as Anxy says its getting a lil tired (they brought back Chloe in full bitch tonight woot! )

And always..no matter how much I squirm and scream...South Park.
