my least favorite john waters movie, though iggy pop is fun in it and patty hearst is a hoot as always. "let's put on boat hats and learn about foreign cultures!"
traci lords' character reminded me of something divine woulda played back in the early days of dreamland movies - or maybe a mary vivien pearce character (my favorite dreamlander). didja know they're adapting cry-baby for broadway? it's true. | |

I forget who but somebody drinks a cup of "tears". I don't know why but I gagged. I found it disgusting. I think that's what John Waters wanted. I'm a huge fan. It's worth watching just to see Johnny running around in his undies.
