sexual predators aren't new, the subject is just less taboo, so we are willing to talk about it. As far as all this, who knows. Its happened for centuries, but it doesn't make it any less sick.

yeah, but, i mean... people in general... we have just lost our minds as a group i think people are not the same these days.

yeah, sure, i love the inventions of the microwave, the DVD player, the internet, blah blah blah.... but, i wish i could go back in time to the easier days when your neighbors baked you bread and you didnt have to wonder if it was laced with poison, ya know ? or, if you were at a party enjoying a drink and you have to use the restroom, you dont need to get a friend to watch your drink so someone doesnt slip some date rape drug in there or, go tanning without wondering if there are people watching you in there.... rent a house without wondering if there are cameras watching you there... actually LET your child spend a day with a huge star and not worry that they are taking advantage of them

the way things are now days is why i dont like people. you never know who's who out there and what they are looking to do to you

I don't know what's happened in the last thirty years, but A LOT of people have lost their manners and ethics.

its because now all of this is so public that we are apathetic. first it was all secret shit that we didn't want to tell people, then people start talking and so many people, as with child abuse, come out and say "we were abused" that people can't take it seriously because they can't fathom that many people being abused. Or raped. Or whatever. When shootings happened in school at columbine, it shocked people. now a first grader has a gun in his book bag that goes off, and its a blip on our shock radar.

Lots of confused sickos in this world.
