It's a hard question to answer, the question of your own personal worth. There are criteria to consider such as how well you interact with people, what you give to others and give to yourself, and how you rate your successes and failures in life.

Just today two people said I was one of the most intelligent people they know, so that got me thinking about how well I have done for myself up till now. Now I'm not trying to come off as "I love me, who do you love?", or self-absorbed, but sometimes it's important to recognise your strengths and weaknesses. So here are a few of mine, post yours if you like...

Strengths:

Do my best to be friendly to everyone I meet, especially to those who are close to me. I am good at intimacy and close relationships with people who are on a similar wavelength.

Good musician.

Dedicated worker (prodividing the job is worth doing).

Dedicated to achieving goals in life while having reasonable expectations of what I can achieve.

Have an "eccentric, witty" sense of humour (so I've been told)


Weaknesses:

Sometimes stubborn.

Sometimes lacking confidence.

Sometimes intolerant of others.

Sometimes self-absorbed.

I have a strong sense of self -- ethnically, individually, academically, intellectually.

I run, on average, 6.24 miles a day.

Knowledge of my ancestors' struggle.

I am a descendant of American slaves.

Great love for family.

I'm emotional.

Non-violent.

Won't let someone "run over me" or "violate me."

When I know a situation or person is shitty, I will identify it and quickly remove myself from it.

I can see the evil in certain people or things.

Ambition -- When someone tells me "I can't do" something, I'll strive to make it a reality.

Regardless of setbacks, I still manage to put priorities first and finish them through without giving up.

I love dancing.

Romantic.


Weaknesses:

Sensitive.

Harsh words stick to me stronger than compliments.

I don't have a strong sense of self -- emotionally and in matters of the heart.

Defeatist attitude.

I tend to dwell on past mistakes, regrets or missteps.

Over-analytical.

Uncontrollable bouts of crying.

Insecure.

Self-loathing.

Low self-esteem.

Negative self-image.

Due to these things, I've started developing skin color issues in the last 18 months.

Even though I know a situation or person can be potentially harmful, I'll rush into it knowing the ill consequences due to the aforementioned.

Wow! What an interesting topic! I guess I would have to rely on what alot of people have told me to accuratly represent myself So here it goes

Strengths

Intelligent-People always tell me I don't give myself enough credit in that area. But I think I secretly know it I just don't want to come off arrogent.

Funny-People tell me I am funny alot. Well the ones who get my sense of humor. Which is very bizzarre. In fact alot of people think my sense of humor is kinda werid and I get alot of blank looks when I tell something funny-which makes me laugh even harder.

Poliet/Manners-I used to get teased for saying "Please" and "Thank you" and "Ma'am" and "Sir" When I was a kid. But all those who teased me were low class twits. I am still very poliet.Rude people get under my skin.

Compassionate-I overheard my father talking to my boyfriend and he said "Krystal is the most compassionate person you will ever meet" Which shocked me because my father NEVER says anything like that about me. So it must be true.


Weaknesses

Spendaholic=I spend wayyyy too much money. I need to learn to budget and save. I have had that problem ever since my first job.

I am hard to get to know-If people bore me I don't want to spend any time getting to know them. Which is kinda judgemental on my part. Everyone who became my friends later on always said "When I fist met you I though you were a snobby bitch that thought you were better than everyone eles" Which couldn't be farther than the truth. I am a sweetheart. I just don't like to waste enery making small talk with people I feel no connection to.

I get depressed alot-Serious problem. I don't know why but I get so moody. I can be on top of the world one week and then the next I cry for no reason. It sux and I hate it. I am so moody, beyond moody actually I get sad for no reason.

Anyway you sound cool=keep up the good work improving your strengths and working on your weaknesses.
